It's Officially Official
Meredith is free and clear. Her MRI this morning showed the "spot" on her liver was nothing at all. Thanks again to all who prayed for healing. God is truly in the miracle business!
I'm overjoyed...and I feel so blessed to have been able to talk with Meredith when all this started. I know how terrifying and life-changing a cancer diagnosis is, especially with a sweet new baby at home. Her story was too much like mine- so much that it made my stomach turn. As soon as I learned about it from MB that night, I got off the phone and sobbed. No one can quite understand it unless they've been through it. Our moms wept together as well, as only they could understand each other's pain.
If for no other reason, I'm grateful for the trial of cancer I experienced, just so I could comfort Mere 5 months later.
I'm so happy, and I know more than ever that God continues to be faithful and show His glory. What a mighty God we serve.
