I am also having a love affair with the video function. We've already taken about 10 videos of her, and we just got the camera yesterday. I am now in need of technical support. I can't make the video post on here. Help?

Muchas Gracias
Thanks for all the helpful advice regarding digital cameras! We are very pleased with our new Canon, and we haven't stopped playing with it. Here are a couple of the millions of pics that I took yesterday.

Help, Please
Since we laid mine to rest over the Christmas holidays, we are in the market for a new digital camera. I don't even know where to start shopping for this. I'm a bit overwhelmed.
That's where you come in. What kind do you have? Do you love it? Hate it? Wish you had a certain kind?
We don't need anything fancy shmancy, but I would prefer one that takes short video clips as well as photos. Two birds, right?
Please respond ASAP as SB's precious moments are slipping away uncaptured.

Nature Abhors a Vacuum
When you put two north ends of a magnet together, they push apart. When you put Sarah Beth in her crib, she wakes up. Sarah Beth and sleeping. Flava Flav and attractiveness. Some things just don’t go together.
It’s been many moons since I’ve had a full night’s sleep. It’s given me plenty of time to contemplate why SB has stopped sleeping. I know I mentioned that she started sleeping through the night, right around Christmas. It was so wonderful, and I quickly adjusted to getting a full night’s sleep. But now she has gone back to the dark side. She’s getting up every 3 hours again, all through the night.
I’ve been wondering what terrible tragedy could have occurred that caused SB to regress into such a child like state. Also, and I know she would just die if she knew I was telling everyone this, but she’s started wetting the bed again. While responding to a SIP (shriek in progress) in SB’s room last night, I picked her up only to discover that she was soaking wet from the waist down.
I don’t know what Freud would say, but I think I’ve finally figured it out. It’s all Meredith’s fault. When Mere came home, SB started sleeping through the night. After she left, it put such an enormous strain on SB’s psyche that it caused a psychotic break and caused her to retreat into the only safe place she knew: Childhood. It’s the only explanation that makes any sense. I’ve called her analyst/therapist for an emergency session.
On a semi-related note, SB got to meet Jack’s dad for the first time ever this weekend. After she spent the weekend charming the socks off of all the Redwoods, I overheard Jack’s dad confiding in SB that he didn’t believe in “all that ‘Screamy Face’ business.”
Well. He had a 2 day trip back to Colorado yesterday and today, and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been tempted to call him, put SB on speakerphone, and leave the room. A nice little soundtrack for the road trip. But I didn’t. Mr. Bobby, you’re very welcome. As her grandfather, it’s probably best that you continue to think that she’s perfect.
So please excuse my extended absence. I’ve been working hard to keep my sanity and napping in every spare minute. But I promised Mere that I would blog today, so I’m using precious nap time to be here. Even though this regression is totally your fault.
I’d like to close with a heartfelt apology to a very dear friend, who turned 69 last week. I had every intention of blogging bubbly birthday wishes to you last Thursday, but SB had other plans for me. Anyway, happy birthday Murry, and thanks for all the memories.

Mo Money, Mo Problems
Jack and I were delighted last year to discover a wonderful commercial for an establishment known as Mo Money Taxes, located in Memphis, TN. I have posted the ad below for your viewing pleasure. We were even more delighted to catch a glimpse of their downtown office while en route to the Liberty Bowl. Unfortunately, we were unable to snap a photo, but just knowing that they were still around was enough to brighten our day.
This morning, Jack excitedly awoke me to tell me that he had a surprise for me. When he turned on the television to check the weather, this is what he found. Please to enjoy the brand new and improved Mo Money advertisement. The older one is posted first.
